Mets Great Mookie Wilson Grills Up Fun

Former NY Mets star in Roslyn, grillin' and chillin' with fans.

New York Mets Hall of Famer Mookie Wilson helped the The Meat House of Roslyn kick off its one-year anniversary Sunday. The former centerfielder manned the grill – preparing chicken, rice and sweet potatoes – and of course, met fans.

The celebration continues Feb. 28 and March 2, as The Meat House launches a new cooking workshops series, led by taught by former star of the Bravo hit series Top Chef, Chef Nikki Cascone.
