Weekend Holiday Happenings

Festivities include the annual tree lighting.

Here are some holiday happenings in and around Port Washington this weekend.

holly fair takes place in the school gymnasium, and is open to the public. Look for raffles, jewelry, tie-dye items, chocolates, handbags, stationary, soaps clothing, centerpieces, scarves, homemade baked goods, poinsettias, wreaths, ornaments, candles, hats, and pottery. Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Sunday, 8 a.m - 2:30 p.m. . 

 is holding its holiday fair Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Look for holiday ornaments, gifts, hats, boutique items and doll dresses, which the society said is "all lovingly made with attention to detail." The 14th annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony takes place Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at . Join the community for the live nativity, singing holiday carols, free refreshments and Santa arriving by firetruck.
