Michael A. Levine, MD, FACS of Advanced Urology Centers of New York (AUCNY) – Lake Success has been named Co-Chair of the Urology Section of the Nassau Surgical Society Annual Clinic Day. Dr. Levine, of Port Washington, chosen one of Castle Connolly’s 2013 “Top Doctors,” is an attending at North Shore University Hospital, LIJ Medical Center, and St. Francis Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and is on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn & Long Island Chapter of the ACS. Dr. Levine also serves as Co-Chair of the annual Murry Friedman Resident Essay Competition.

The event to be held on December 4, 2013 at the Long Island Marriott hosts presentations from thought leaders in medicine throughout the United States. More than 500 surgeons from 11 surgical specialties will be attending this meeting, which is conducted in conjunction with the Brooklyn-Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Annual Clinic Day is widely recognized as the premier academic event held on Long Island. Dr. Levine has supported this organization for attracting high caliber physicians with surgical competence and ethical standards, as judged by their peers.
