Car Crashes on Tracks Near Great Neck LIRR Station
Port Washington Branch service temporarily suspended Sunday
A car crashed down an embankment onto the Long Island Railroad tracks in Great Neck Sunday morning, according to Nassau County police.
Service to the Port Washington Branch was briefly suspended after the vehicle plunged off an overpass on Barstow Road at about 7:15 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Service on the LIRR has resumed.
