Extra Port Washington Branch Trains Added For All-Star Game Tuesday

Special LIRR service to provide service every half-hour.

Avoid an epic traffic jam at the Midsummer Classic.

The LIRR is providing special service Tuesday for Major League Baseball's 2013 All-Star Game at Citi Field with extra Pt. Washington Br. trains to/from Mets-Willets Pt. Station.

LIRR Port Washington Branch trains will provide service every half-hour — and more frequently when necessary  — to Mets-Willets Point Station to get fans to and from the events leading up to and including the 84th MLB All-Star Game.

Fans traveling from Long Island on other LIRR branches can reach Citi Field by changing at Woodside, just a five-minute ride from the stadium, where the best players from the National League and American League will square off Tuesday night.
