Grab And Go Kids Planner – Port Washington

A look at upcoming family-friendly activities on the peninsula.

  1. Old to you, new to them. Introduce your kids to that beloved Broadway classic: "Cats." Tilles Center, 2/19 at 8 p.m. Go ahead - make a “Memory."
  2. Get art smart. offers art activities for kids and their parents every Sunday. Family gallery talks at 1 p.m. followed by an art activity at 1:30 p.m. Free with museum admission.
  3. What do you get when you cross Dr. Seuss with the Yellow Submarine? Multi-media animation sensation Gustafer Yellowgold. The creation of triple-threat singer/songwriter/animator Morgan Taylor, Gustafer Yellowgold  rocks the Long Island Children’s Museum, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Ages: 3 and up. Fee: $4 with museum admission ($3 LICM members), $8.
  4. "Romeo and Juliet" is so 1500s. Kick-it new school with kids flick Gnomeo and Juliet, featuring the very grown-up voices of Michael Caine, Maggie Smith and Emily Blunt. See it at the Clearview Port Washington Theater.
