High Winds Linger Around Manhasset Bay

Port's natural environment endures another blast from Mother Nature.

Never mind the overnight windstorm, but Port's feathered population seemed to enjoy the prevailing weather conditions around Manhasset Bay and Mill Pond. Fervent waves hit the shore and docks with tremendous energy as they send up icy pellets but there was no one but the birds taking this all in.
