LIRR: Weekend Track Work on Port Washington Line
Buses and vans will transport passengers to and from Great Neck.
Weekend rail passengers take note: the Long Island Rail Road will conduct train work on the Port Washington line on July 9-10.
The LIRR will supply buses and vans to replace trains between Port Washington and Great Neck. Eastbound passengers will transfer to bus or vans at Great Neck. Westbound passengers will board buses or vans in Port Washington, Plandome or Manhasset to Great Neck, and from there transfer to trains.
This schedule will be in effect beginning Saturday, 12:50 a.m., until Monday, 12:30 a.m.
