Photo: More Ribbons for Sydney

Trees adorned with light blue and purple.

Trees in front of St. Peters of Alcantara on Port Washington Blvd. are adorned with ribbons in shades of light blue and purple.

These are the favorite colors of Sydney, who is showing continued signs of improvement after she was injured in a sledding accident earlier in February. Friends close to the family say the ribbons serve as a reminder to stop and pray for Sydney, adding that the prayers appear to be working and offer a source of strength to the family.
