Friday is all about Halloween, golf, and yes, cheering on the Vikings at a home game.
1. Get the lowdown on all things spooky as speaker Ron Brown presents "Halloween: The Witches, Goblins, Ghosts and Spirits of New York City" at Port Washington Public Library. This event starts at 12:10 p.m.
2. Harbor Links presents "Fore Ladies Only," a golf clinic designed for women. This session runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., for a fee of $35. For more information, call 516.883.6072.

3. Put those gently used coats you no longer wear to good use by packing them up for the upcoming coat drive. Also accepted: hats, scarves, boots and blankets in good condition. The drive starts Nov. 1 at the former Little Gym at Soundview Marketplace. To volunteer, contact Paula Whitman (whitman1@optonline.net) or Linda Weil ( weil@optonline.net). Coats will be distributed on Thursday, November 4, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, November 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, November, 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
4. More Halloween horrors over at the library for the screening of "The Invited." This 2008 film features a fiery death, a ghost and a murder suspect, and stars Emily Browning, Arielle Rebbel, David Strathairn, and Elizabeth Banks, and was adopted from the Korean horror film "A Tale of Two Sisters." Show time: 7:30 p.m.

5. Go Vikings! Port Washington takes on Herricks in girls volleyball in the Schreiber gym. Game starts at 4:30 p.m.
