Pet of The Week: Meet Tiffany

This young cat is looking for a home.

Affectionate and friendly. That's Tiffany, a young cat whose caretakers at say "is famous for her beautiful coat of fur."

Favorite pastimes for Tiffany include self-grooming. And she loves to be petted. Her caretakers note that after a "subtle introduction" she's "as happy as can be." 

Owning and caring for a cat can be good for your health, and good for your family. According to NSALA, studies that caring for a pet can decrease blood pressure, cholesterol and triglyceride levels and help to lessen depression, anxiety and loneliness. What's more it teaches children responsibility and compassion.
