Mill Pond Road is closed to traffic Wednesday and Thursday as preparatory work begins in advance to replace a 60-year-old sewage line.
The says the major portion of the work, which will begin on Monday, Aug. 15, should take about two weeks. Work will be performed between 8 a.m to 4 p.m.
Traffic will be diverted to either Pleasant Avenune or Harbor Road. The road will be open only to local residents and to emergency vehicles.
