The Supreme Court's Big Week

The Supreme Court made decisions on same sex marriage and voting rights this week. What resonates most in Port Washington.

It's been an historic week for the nation's highest court.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court voted to strike a major component of the 1965 Voting Rights act that put special scrutiny on states with a history of discrimination, before they make special changes to election laws.

On Wednesday, the high court ruled that the Defense of Marriage Act, the federal ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional. They also delivered a crippling blow to California's Proposition 8, which banned same sex marriage in that state.

We want to know which of these decisions resonates the most in Port.  What do you think of the Supreme Court's actions this week. Let us know in the comment section below.
