Turkey Trot Draws Nearly 3,000 Runners

Nearly 3,000 people participated in the 2012 Thanksgiving Day Run in Port Washington. Sponsored by the Town of North Hempstead and the Community Chest of Port Washington, which distributes the money raised through the event to carefully screened non-profit organizations, benefitting one in four persons in Port Washington
