A Course In Miracles Study Group

The Living Room Studio hosts this weekly "A Course in Miracles" study group.

A Course in Miracles is a self-study spiritual thought system. As a three-volume curriculum consisting of a Text, Workbook for Students, and Manual for Teachers, it teaches that the way to inner peace (or remembering God) is by undoing guilt through forgiving others. The Course thus focuses on the healing of relationships and making them holy. A Course in Miracles also emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum, of which there are "many thousands."

Consequently, even though the language of the Course is that of traditional Christianity, it expresses a non-sectarian, non-denominational spirituality. A Course in Miracles therefore is a universal spiritual teaching, not a religion.

This group is open to anyone interested in or currently studying A Course in Miracles. While the ACIM represents a self-study curriculum, We gather together so to support each other as we process its effects on our daily lives. Our meetings include a slow reading of a section of the text, a silent meditation, and a time to check in with each other. In this space, you can ask questions or offer insights without fear of judgement.  We usually close with a group prayer - and if anyone is using the meetup as a launch event to start the workbook - we'll offer up a prayer of blessing for them on their journey.
