Beekeeping Techniques at Sands Point Preserve

Everyone from novices to future bee keepers can discover the art of Bee Whispering through interactive presentations and hands-on experience at the Sands Point Preserve's apiary. Attend one or both of the workshops: Beekeeping Techniques and Maintaining the Hive on Sunday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Honey Harvest on August 10. More than 100 pounds of fresh honey were harvested last year, and participants are invited to help harvest this season's honey on August 10. For adults and children age 6 and up. Admission is $10 per car, free with Friends Annual Pass.
