This adaptive sports program for children with a variety of special needs at a moderate-to-higher level of motor functioning ability. The goal of this program is to teach children the rules and skills needed to participate in recess sports, such as kickball. Each 10-week session will focus on  a different playground sport and teach the children sport-specific drills through a hands-on multi-sensory approach, followed by an actual game where athletes can then practice these newly  acquired rules and skills. Kids will develop and strengthen their motor, cognitive, and social abilities. This program helps facilitate building skills, confidence, sportsmanship, and self-esteem. Space is limited.
