Rabbi Lawrence Hoffman Kicks Off Spirituality Series at The Dolphin Bookshop and Cafe

On Sunday, January 13th at 4 pm, Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman will be leading an informative and fascinating discussion and signing his book One Hundred Great Jewish Books.

One Hundred Great Jewish Books introduces outstanding texts of many genres, written by artists and poets, historians and theologians, women and men, and advocates of every kind of Judaism imaginable.  This interesting collection of texts is an illuminating encounter with the Jewish experience in all its sensitivity and genius, but also it’s foibles.  It is an invitation to exercise the mind, touch the heart, and stir the soul.

Rabbi Hoffman, author or editor of some three dozen books and two-time winner of the National Jewish Book Award, serves on the faculty of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York and lectures widely across North America. Some of Rabbi Hoffman’s works include Israel: A Spiritual Travel Guide, The Journey Home, and the National Jewish Book Award winner My People’s Prayer Book.   For almost forty years, Rabbi Hoffman has combined research, teaching, and a passion for the spiritual renewal of North American Judaism.

Order One Hundred Great Jewish Books today at www.thedolphinbookshop.com, stop by the store or purchase your copies at the event. If you cannot make the event, but wish to have a signed copy, contact The Dolphin Bookshop at (516) 767-2650 or email info@thedolphinbookshop.com.
