Community Corner

RAISING YOUR FAMILY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS

After Hurricane Sandy blew through, people were left feeling anxious about our environment.  Many in our community raised questions such as, "Was our water safe?" and "Are these storms going to continue?".

The PRC is hosting an intimate workshop to discuss these issues with Mindy Germain, the Port Washington Water Commissioner,  Executive Director for Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington and the recipient of the 2012 EPA Environmental Quality Award.

Mindy works tirelessly to preserve our environment, enhance our community, and educate our students, inspiring their volunteerism and concern and protection of our environment.  She will be giving out free water conservation kits to all that attend!
