'Stars of Broadway' at The Community Synagogue

The Sisterhood of the Community Synagogue announces its annual Broadway fundraiser to be held on Saturday, 11/13/12 at 8:00 PM in the Community Synagogue’s Congregational Hall. Back by popular demand, New York Casting Director/Producer Stephen DeAngelis presents five of New York’s finest vocalists who will recreate their most memorable musical moments and share behind-the-scene stories and amusing anecdotes in this exclusive All New concert event.  Performers scheduled to appear on 11/10/12 are Drama Desk Award winner Andrea Burns (In The Heights, The Ritz, The Full Monty and Beauty and the Beast), Matthew Hydzik (West Side Story; Grease), Tony Award nominee and two-time Drama Desk Award nominee Norm Lewis (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, Sondheim on Sondheim, The Little Mermaid, Les Miserables, Chicago, Amour, The Wild Party, Side Show, Miss Saigon, The Who’s Tommy, ABC’s “Scandal”), Leslie Odom Jr. (Leap of Faith, RENT, NBC’s “Smash”), and Elizabeth Stanley (Million Dollar Quartet, Cry-Baby, Company). Eugene Gwozdz will return as Musical Director/Accompanist. Golden Circle tickets (First two rows Premium reserved seat-includes private dessert reception with the cast) are $100.00. Premium reserved tickets with reception are $75.00. Concert only tickets are $50.00.
