Great Neck Park District/Long Island Curling Club Open House

Long Island Curling Club, Neighbor

Curling is easy to learn and fun to play. Sponsored by the Great Neck Park District, the Long Island Curling Club is hosting an Open House in preparation for the Olympics and our 2014 Spring/Summer season. Come try it out the morning/afternoon of February 2. We will introduce you to the sport of curling, including the basics of sliding, how to "deliver a stone" and why we sweep. Wear warm, comfortable clothes and rubber-soled shoes.  $10 per person. (Free to Great Neck Park District Residents with a valid Park Card.) 

Reservations Required. (Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.)
