In the United Kingdom he worked as a writer and editor for several British tabloids, including The Sun, News of the World, and Daily Mirror, and was a judge on Britain's Got Talent.
In November 2012 Morgan was criticized in the official findings of the Lord Leveson Inquiry which found that Morgan's Testimony about phone hacking "clearly prove is that he was aware that it was taking place in the press as a whole and that he was sufficiently unembarrassed by what was criminal behavior that he was prepared to joke about it". Morgan has written eight books, including three volumes of memoirs.
