Paper & Personal Care Pantry Opens At Lutheran Church

The Lutheran Church of Our Savior announces the opening of its Paper & Personal Care Pantry.  Recognizing there is a gap between supplemental services provided by government to persons of limited income and the needs of our neighbors, we will serve seniors, individuals and families facing difficult choices in allocating their financial resources.  Our local food pantries at Our Lady of Fatima and St. Peter's and a layette pantry at St. Stephen's help many stretch their budgets.  But there remains a need for essentials such as infant and adult diapers, laundry detergent, bar soap, toothpaster, toilet tissue, etc.  Government benefit programs to do not allor for non-food purchases.  Our ministry is to provide paper and personal care items to those in need.
We welcome persons referred by Sr. Kathy at Fatima, Lourdes Taglialatela at St. Peter's, Louise & Fr. Stuart Huntley at St. Stephen's, Elizabeth Pinsky at Landmark on Main Street, and Susan Bagnini at Hadley House.
The Pantry will be open 4:30 - 7:30PM on the first Thursday of every month. To enter guests are asked to use the ramp on the east side of the church building.
