PCLI Holiday Gift to Photographers Everywhere

The Photography Club of LI (PCLI), based here in Port, wants to share a holiday gift with the community.  We are using our monthly Library meeting as an extra critique session, usually open only to our membership.  Our Judge is Leon Herzon, a well-known and respected photographer who always has wonderful constructive comments.  For this meeting, open to all, we are adding an opportunity for everyone present to submit digital images for review, and the audience will be able to augment Leon's comments and suggestions.  We have found that this is a wonderful learning exercise for our club members, and we want everyone attending to have the opportunity to experience it. 

Each attendee can submit up to 5 images in digital format for critique.  The theme is holiday lights, based on a group shoot that the club did last Wednesday evening in town, but if you were not there or you would prefer to do something different, you can submit other images from the holidays or on any subject that you'd like to have reviewed.  We learn from following the theme by talking about different ways of shooting certain situations, but we welcome what you think are your best shots.  Please try to email images to pcliphoto@gmail.com by midnight Tuesday December 10 so they can be downloaded early on Wednesday morning.  If you are submitting them after Midnight on Tuesday, please arrive between 7 and 7:15 pm with your images on a thumb drive and we will try to get them loaded in time to be critiqued.   Images must be JPEG and between 1MB and 3MB.

No one is too young or old--our current membership includes people from 13-94 years old, at all levels and stages of knowledge and expertise.  We are based around learning from each other and being innovative, and we hope that you will consider joining us--at least for this event.
