In "The Maltese Falcon," based on the acclaimed novel by Dashiell Hammett, private detective Sam Spade gets mixed up with a group of eccentric criminals--including one dangerous, dishonest beauty--on a quest to claim a priceless statuette.
"The Maltese Falcon" is a live broadcast radio performance co-production between LIU's WCWP radio and Port Washington Play Troupe.
It is the first in a three-part series of vintage radio plays (to include "The Thin Man" April 25 and TBA drama May 23), with songs from the era, launching Play Troupe's 2014 celebration of the Golden Era of Radio.
