Based on the Dashiell Hammett novel, "The Thin Man" tells the story of witty, would-be retired detective Nick Charles and his socialite wife Nora, who--in between cocktails--team up to solve a murderous missing persons case involving a cavalcade of suspects, all of whom agree to come to dinner.
"The Thin Man" is a live broadcast radio presentation, with songs from the era. It is the second in a three-part series produced in proud partnership by WCWP, the community public radio station of LIU Post, and Port Washington Play Troupe. The series began with "The Maltese Falcon" on March 14 and will conclude with "Casablanca" on May 23.
"The Thin Man" will be performed in front of a live studio audience, on the air at 88.1 FM and streaming online at WCWP.org.
