Thursday Dinner and a Movie Series, March 6-April 24, 2014, 6:30 PM

Sponsored by Locally Long Island and The Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island this Thursday Dinner and a Movie Series is a networking event connecting global sustainability issues to Long Island solutions.

Join us for a sociable  vegan soup supper provided by the Sweet to Lick Vegan Bakery in Williston Park , watch an engaging movie and stay for a discussion with a local expert. Come, make some new friends, bring your friends! This series runs through April 24. $15, $12 for Seniors/Students.
 
Food Stamped is an informative and humorous documentary following a couple as they attempt to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet on food stamp budget.  Through their adventures they consult with members of Congress, food justice organizations, nutrition experts, and people living on food stamps to take a deep look at America's broken food system.
