Jerry Silverman of NSYC will make a significant contribution towards improving recreational boating safety as he shows various types of safety equipment available to the recreational boating community and discuss how each may be used to optimal advantage.  We urge you and your crew to attend this event (RSVP below appreciated).

Jerry will lead a discussion based on personal experiences aboard a range of cruising and racing yachts spanning almost fifty years and many miles of ocean.  Based on this background, he will share his extensive knowledge about how sailors can successfully master a multitude of onboard situations.  He will combine his knowledge of equipment with this wealth of experience and offer you and your crew valuable insight into how we can be as prepared as possible for difficulty on board.  Our last forum on the issue of boating safety produced a valuable exchange with presenters and the audience and it is anticipated that this presentation will be a great follow up.  Refreshments will be available but, as always, if you want to munch, bring a bunch.
