Help Protect our Bay!
This Saturday, Girl Scout Troop 410 invites you to stop by one of their tables and sign the pledge to Help Protect Our Bay. The girls are asking people to sign a pledge to:
1) not litter
2) not flush unnecessary items down the toilet
3) try to use reusable tote bags instead of plastic grocery bags.
The pledge drive was developed by the Guggenheim 5th grade troop as part of their Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. The girls will be at the following
locations:
9-11 Stop & Shop
9-11 Blumenfeld Family Park
9-11 Let There Be Bagels
9-11 Port Washington Post Office
10-12 Dolphin Bookshop
