SOUPer Bowl 2011

Local restaurants and food establishments will donate their best soups as they compete for the title of 2011 SOUPer Bowl Champ. The event will take place at the  

Adults pay a $7 "touchdown" fee, kids pay a $3" field goal" fee – attendees receive a spoon, hand stamp and ballot, along with the chance to sample two ounces of each soup donated by local chefs. Also on hand: plenty of bread and crackers.

Tasters vote for their favorite soups, and when all the ballots are tallied, the 2011 SOUPer Bowl Champ is determined. The winner will receive the “People’s Choice Award.”

A select judges' panel will decide the winner of the Judges’ Choice Award.

The Chamber of Commerce is organizing this event, and will donate a portion of the net proceeds to the   Food Pantry.
