Port Washington was crawling with characters of all kinds Saturday as the annual Halloween on Main vent drew a big crowd.
Parents and kids gathered at Sunset Park for a 30-minute concert sponsored by Port Washington's Bach to Rock music school. After being entertained by kid bands of various types, the festive crowd of hundreds of trick-or-treaters and their escorts made their way up Main Street to business that welcomed the festive crowd with free candy for all.
