Everyone has an opinion some are great views and others are ridiculous comments.
The Patch on line is a great tool to let leaders, police, and residents of opinions or ideas which might otherwise go unnoticed. It is also a great place to start a thread which might enlighten politicians and residents about significant issues which might other wise seem insiginficant. The down side is that some people feel the Patch is a place to veny extreme anger. For those individuals I have to say I do not respect and will not respect their views which in MY opinion are over shadowed by their sheer anger.
Whether or not I agree with your views has nothing to do with your right to post an opinion. What I find hard to understand is how you can voice an opinion and not back it up or give enough information to make your opinion sound logical. I have to agree with some comments that some posters hide behind a shield and just want to be rebble rousers.
If a politcal candidate did this would you consider him or her a viable candidate?
Policing, politics, community issues, dangerous roads and clueless drivers are just a few issues which I feel by postig on the Patch we might have made an effort to correct.
I do not wish to chastise anyone one individual, but feel some have destroyed the good that a forum such as the Patch started to do for the communities it covers.
Please think twice about the type of posts you submit and I hope it never comes down to the Patch having to sensor them. Unfortunately it looks like it is headed in that direction. Those who post ridiculous banter or are continuously venting a deep seated anger for mankind know who I am speaking to.
All I can say is grow up.
