Sick on a holiday?

Premier Care provides an alternative to the emergency room and access to care when their doctor is unavailable.

If you've ever been sick on a holiday and had to go wait in the ER for 5 or 6 hours, you know what a horrible situation that is. Thanks to Premier Care Walk-In Urgent Care opening at 415 Northern Blvd. in Great Neck, you no longer have to face that hardship. Many people are unfamiliar with what urgent care is exactly. For patients on their way to the emergency room or doctor's office with an acute illness of moderate severity, Premier Care provides an alternative to the emergency room and access to care when their doctor is unavailable. Premier Care physicians are board-certified in emergency medicine and are the physicians you would see in the emergency department, but by practicing in the urgent care setting, allow patients access to a kinder, gentler way to receive emergency care.Premier Care Urgent Care centers are all equipped with on-site digital x-ray, a laboratory that can provide rapid testing for various illnesses, such as the flu or strep throat, and equipment needed to treat common orthopedic injuries as well as wounds requiring stitches. Premier Care doctors can see patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult to geriatric. Premier Care refers patients back to their primary care providers to maintain the continuity of care. Patients with life-threatening conditions, such as a stroke or symptoms of a heart attack should call 911 and go directly to the nearest ER.

Premier Care will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 9am-1pm, Friday from 9-9, Saturday & Sunday from 9-5. Call 516-829-2273 or visit www.premiercaredoc.com for more information.

Particularly out of line since it's a shared-use puddle for camp groups splashing, not a good poolRead More venue for individuals swimming.

The TONH should be under some investigation for charging such a high fee for a very short summerRead More season. You lose most of june and the pool closes in early September. Better off paying as you go just purchase the parking permit which is good at the Manorhaven Pool and the Harbor beach. Stop buying a season pass in protest to the yearly excessive price increase.
