Build Senior Housing at The Roslyn Country Club

Build senior housing at the Roslyn Country Club.

I was so happy to see that the Town of North Hempstead bought the 7.3 acre Roslyn Country Club.

It’s great news because the TONH now has a place to build much needed senior housing.

If the TONH will transfer 1.5 acres to the North Hempstead Housing Authority, the NHHA can re-open the recently locked-up Alvin Petrus Park and build senior housing in Roslyn.

It's a win-win for North Hempstead, seniors will get much needed housing and the kids who lost their park in Port Washington can get it re-opened so they have a place to play.

Let’s all congratulate Supervisor Jon Kaiman for figuring out how to house seniors and reopen a park with one purchase of land.

Call NHHA Executive Director Sean Rainey at (516) 627-6433 X16

Email Supervisor Jon Kaiman and let him know what a win-win this is

Too bad she doesn't view the UNSIGHTLY MASSIVE SCAM OVERLAY DISTRICT THAT WILL RUIN THE CHARACTER OFRead More THE TOWN with the same disdain as most of her constituents: "...De Giorgio, a Republican who announced her bid for supervisor last month, said the proposals amount to creating an unsightly storage yard in Port Washington. "The idea of storing these massive trains, adding two storage tracks to Port Washington, will completely ruin the character of the town," she said. "This is creating a train depot in Port Washington..."
