The Grande Festa Italiana is back. A 33-year tradition, the festival at North Hempstead Beach Park features rides, games, entertainment, vendors and of course food.
We’re talking homemade sauces, meatballs, sausage and peppers and more. And Thursday night includes a pasta making demonstration at 7:30 p.m.
Also featured: fireworks on Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
Catch the feast weeknights 6-11 p.m, Saturday 2-11 p.m., and Sunday 1:30-11 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the John Marino Lodge #1389, Port Washington Order Sons of Italy in America. Proceeds help to support charities, including the fight against Cooley's Anemia and Commission for Social Justice.
Buon Appetito!
