Help Fund Cutting Edge Research To Prevent Breast Cancer

Learning that you have developed cancer can be one of the most devastating things a human being can learn. One of the most rapid growing forms of the disease occurs in the breasts. This terrible health issue is so prevalent that 12% of women in the United States alone will develop an invasive form of breast cancer at some point in their life. That means that over 230,000 women, this year alone, will be diagnosed with a severe form of the cancer. Of all those women, 40,000 or more will die. These numbers do not include relapses and the 65,000 women who will be diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS), a less serious and non invasive form of breast cancer.

Over the last few years, it has been proven that inflammation in the breast tissue and glands is a precursor and sign that cancerous cells may be beginning to form. Because the survival rate for most cancers increases exponentially the sooner you catch it, searching for inflammation in women who are predisposed to this disease may be of great help in breast cancer prevention.

Kristine Blanche, founder of the Integrative Healing Centers is looking for funding, not to attempt to cure the disease but to help prevent it all together, she believes that preventative medicine is the key. With over 20 years experience in the medical field and the passion to truly want to make a difference, she will be attempting to prove that Breast Thermography is the key to early detection and prevention. Thermography can detect heat and inflammation in the breasts. The use of this tool will help doctors be able to see the cancer starting to form before it can even be detected by a mammogram. The best part about this treatment is that it is completely non invasive and safe.

If this form of testing can be proven a success, it will be used by doctors all over the world and can help to save hundreds of thousands of lives in just a few short years. Not only will lives be saved but many women will be spared the torture of having to go through painful cancer treatments once the disease becomes more pronounced within their breasts.

Right now, they are accepting donations from $5 to $25,000 and anything in between. These donations will not only go to researching breast cancer prevention through the use of Thermography but also in studying the MTHFR gene, a gene that is thought to play a huge part in which women develop breast cancer.
