Manorhaven pool "early bird registration" ?...

Has anyone checked out the fees they are asking to join the Town of North Hempstead, Manorhaven pool this year? What is this early bird discount? ( which expired june 8th) I have not seen any advertising for enrollment or the fact that they are able to charge you extra money if you don't enroll by a certain date. I personally am not too fond of the new pool as it is but for a family with children it does help with passing the summer days, but at what cost, many people can't afford over $300 for the season. It's completely out of line, anyone else think so? Is the Town of North Hempstead a business now, and again I wasn't informed?
