Martins Holding 2012 Thanksgiving Essay Contest

Contest open to sixth grade students within New York Seventh Senate District.

With the holidays are quickly approaching, it’s time once again for the Senator Jack Martins Thanksgiving Essay Contest. The contest is open to all sixth grade students who are asked to write an essay, “What Are You Most Thankful For?”

Senator Martins started the contest last year and it was a big success as the sixth grade students who participated did an incredible job of putting Thanksgiving into perspective.

Submissions will accepted through Nov. 9. One essay will be chosen from each of the participating schools for its creativity, thoughtfulness, and overall message.

One winner will be chosen from each school and recognized at a reception. Looking forward to reading your essay!
