Sen. Martins Ignores the Sick and Suffering.

Today I, and I assume many other Port Washington residents, received an email about Senator Jack Martins' concern for the kidnapped Nigerian girls. This is a politically safe subject on which Sen. Martins seeks to garner his constituents approval. Unfortunately, Sen. Martins does not share this concern about his own suffering girls and boys, men and women. Yesterday, our State Senator, as a member,of the Senate Health Committee, voted against the Compassionate Care Act which would bring relief to people with epilepsy, multiple sclerosis   Cerebral palsy, glaucoma and the list goes on. Rather than  voting what hopefully is his knowledge and conscience, he followed the commands of the Republican leadership in the Senate and their corporate lobbyists perhaps these corporations will have a job for Martins after he is voted out.
