Post-Sandy, Port Washington has much to be grateful for, especially given the troubles faced by residents in other communities, especially Long Beach, the Rockaways and elsewhere.
Many in town spoke of connections they made with new and old friends, treasuring those moments. Others expressed thanks to the numerous volunteers they met who helped them before, during and after the storm.
