UPDATE: Missing Glen Head Woman Located

Police say the missing woman is in need of medication.

Nassau Police have located a 60-year-old woman who went missing from her Glen Head, NY, home. No additional information was immediately available.

Virginia McFadden had last been seen at 10:25 a.m. Monday at 550 Glen Cove Road in Glen Head, and may be in Boston.

McFadden was described as 5-foot-6, and weighing 105 pounds. She was wearing a white sweater, gray hoodie with “Hurley” printed on front, blue jeans, moccasins, earrings, and a green watch.

Police say they didn't know how she is traveling.

Nassau police say McFadden was in need of medication but offered no further information.

A Silver Alert was issued by Nassau Police Monday evening. The program disseminates information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.

Not sure if this person is related to this story in anyway... But I was coming home from the city with my daughter and around 8-8:30pm right after exit 29 we saw a person walking on the northern state parkway. It was dark and raining- but the person was in jeans and a grey sweatshirt-
