Prayer circles have been started for an 8-year-old girl involved in a sledding incident.
According to Nassau County Police, at 2:23 p.m. Sunday, the girl, while sledding at Plandome Country Club, collided with a tree. She experienced head trauma and was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Though police had no update on the girl’s status at this time, the Port Washington community, including members of St. Peters, Community Synagogue and St. Stephens, is joining in prayer for her recovery and thoughts for her family.
