Updates: Cops Discover Body in Little Neck Bay

The body was found in the water near a Great Neck neighborhood.

say a man was found dead Friday at 1:50 p.m., his body floating in Little Neck Bay.

Homicide detectives are investigating what the suspected murder of an unidentified male whose was body was recovered in the waters near the Saddle Rock section of Great Neck. 

Police describe the victim as a white male, 5’11” tall, 177 pounds with brown eyes and graying hair. They say his body was found floating in the rear dock area behind a Bayport Lane North residence. He was wearing a white colored golf shirt with the word “Collegiate” and two crossed tennis rackets embroidered in blue, and a pair of blue Addidas sweatpants.

Detectives are trying to identify the man and are asking that anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
