I'll be on the lookout for a guy with a black ski mask and brown jacket.

With all of the technology available could there be a better description? Did he get into a car? Was he on foot?

How was anyone able to estimate his age if he was wearing a ski mask?

There was a day that when you pulled junk like this in this country you got yourself a bullet and/or a good beat-down from the angry townsfolk. Time to take back our streets.

Also, corollary, does it bother anyone that this TD Bank is literally IN SIGHT OF POLICE HQ and yet this guy gets away? Good case for personal responsibility in this and other situations. The PD can't be everywhere no matter how good and well-funded they are. Gentlemen, prepare to defend yourselves.

He got away because probably no one at the bank bothered to even look outside or follow him for 1 minute even to see which way he went, which would've helped the police, or whether there was a vehicle around the corner he got into. I would think that after other recent incidents at TD banks they would've been on alert. If they're seeking the community's help, a more detailed article might've made it possible. Too bad he couldn't have bothered the gas station across from the police station instead. It's had a few name changes (way to avoid too many complaints!) & is known by many for its shady practices. Don't get your car inspected there. With apologies for digressing. I wish the Patch could do a sting operation there, a productive use of time.

My daughter's DAISY troop (first grade!!) missed this occurrence by exactly one week! I shudder to think what would have happened had they been there!

What kind of bank does not have a camera - where they can post a picture of the accused...
Franken Harpo February 28, 2013 at 07:13 PM
Which way did he go?
NYB March 01, 2013 at 03:50 AM
He's not accused of anything, he's just gone...

Why was your daughter's DAISY troop trying to rob a bank?
