Cops Seek Help in Solving Roslyn Heights Burglary

The burglars entered a man's home by prying open a rear window, police say.

Nassau County Police need the public's help in their investigation of a burglary that took place in Roslyn Heights on Wednesday at 10 p.m.

Detectives from the Third Squad say a 57-year-old man was at his home on Deepdale Parkway when he heard noise on the first floor.

When he went to investigate, he encountered an unknown man. The resident yelled to the man who then fled the scene with a second unknown man, who was also in the home.

Police say no injuries were reported and there were no proceeds from the burglary.
