Court Dates for 3 Charged in Manhasset ATM Fraud

Police say the trio ran a scam at U.S. Post Office.

Three Brooklyn residents accused of a scam at the U.S. Post Office in Manhasset have been scheduled for appearances at Nassau First District Court.

Tiana Bovell, of 472 E. 48th Street, was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. Sentence information was not immediately available. Shane Hercules of 43 Linden Blvd., is due in court on Oct. 10, and Jamal Hill, of 4515 Snyder Avenue, is due in court Oct. 4.

The three were charged with second degree grand larceny and first degree defraud. Bovell was also charged with 1st degree identity theft.

After an investigation, police say that they discovered that these three along with others were this scheme to defraud since 2011.
