Crime Report: Theft, Assault and Criminal Mischief

The following information is taken directly from the latest Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints in the report are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests

A Port Washington woman was placed under arrest on Irma Avenue for assault on Dec. 1 at 8:18 p.m.

A Port Washington man at Wildwood Gardens was placed under arrest for menacing and criminal mischief on Dec. 2 at 9:10 a.m.

An Islip man was placed under arrest on Port Washington Boulevard for an open bench warrant on Dec. 8 at 7:12 a.m.

A New Jersey man was placed under arrest on Main Street for operating a motor vehicle while unlicensed on Dec. 9 at 7:26 a.m.

A Franklin Square man was placed under arrest on Port Washington Boulevard for driving with a suspended license on Dec. 9 at 8:55 p.m.

A Port Washington man was placed under arrest on Main Street for larceny after stealing a pocketbook on Dec. 12 at 12:39 a.m.

A homeless man was placed under arrest on Shore Road for burglary and criminal mischief on Dec. 14 at 7:08 a.m.

A Port Washington man was placed under arrest on Roslyn West Shore Road for D.W.I. after being involved in an auto-accident on Dec. 18 at 12:01 a.m.

A Port Washington woman was placed under arrest on Shore Road for shoplifting on Dec. 19 at 3:13 p.m.

Complaints

A complainant reported on Nov. 30 at 3:31 p.m on Cow Neck Road the theft of a digital radar speed sign. A local investigation is under way. 

A complainant on Channel Drive reported on Dec. 2 at 9:42 a.m. that aluminum was missing from two storage containers. A local investigation is under way.

A woman on Pondview Drive reported on Dec. 3 at 2:24 p.m. that $5,200.00 worth of missing jewelry was missing from her home. A local investigation is under way.

A complainant on Carlton Avenue reported on Dec. 5 at 9:49 a.m. that $11,000 worth of jewelry went missing from sometime between November, 2009, and present. A local investigation is under way.

A woman on Davis Avenue reported on Dec. 9 at 12:50 p.m. that her husband is violating a stay away order. A local investigation is under way.

A complainant on Main Street reported on Dec. 12 at 9:41 p.m. being assaulted. A local investigation is under way.

A complainant on Sands Point Road reported on Dec. 17 at 9:55 p.m. youths entering a building without authorization. A local investigation is underway.
