Garden City officers arrested a 46-year-old man from Huntington for the theft of two pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses, two Michael Kors watches as well as other miscellaneous items from the men’s sportswear department at Lord & Taylor's. Total value of the items was $958. He was also charged with criminal impersonation after he tried to identify himself as someone else and possession of burglar tools for using a tool to remove security sensors from the stolen merchandise.

Massapequa

Three men stormed into the 7-Eleven early Friday and robbed an employee and customer at gunpoint, police said.

The gang entered the store located at 711 Broadway at 4:05 a.m. and demanded money from the 51-year-old clerk.

He gave them an unknown amount of cash and two of the men jumped behind the counter and took 40 carton of cigarettes.

The third robber ordered a 38-year-old customer to lie on the ground and took his wallet.

The gunmen then fled out to the parking lot. 

Plainview

The Eighth Squad reported the details of a robbery that occurred on Aug. 19.

According to the detectives, a man armed with a gun entered the Island Care Pharmacy at 1163 Old Country Road. Two employees fled when he jumped behind the counter. Once behind the counter he took 10 to 15 bottles of Oxycodone and fled.

The man is described as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, white sneakers, a light colored baseball style cap, sunglasses and a bandana covering the lower part of his face.
