Families Helping Families in Port Washington, Manhasset

PWM-OEM is helping those without power find a place to say.

The Port Washington-Manhasset Office of Emergency Managegement is coordinating an effort to help families without power find somewhere warm to stay on the peninsula. The organization is hearing from families who are opening their homes, as well as those needing a place to stay.

"If you have heat and can welcome a family or an individual into your home, please tell us," said Peter Forman, commissioner of PWM-OEM. If you need a place to stay, tell us. We will try to match situations up as best we can."
