Crime Report: Burglaries; Fraud

Felony incidents in Port Washington from Oct. 21-27.

The following information is taken directly from the latest felony report from the Port Washington Police District. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. 

Under investigation:

  • Police are investigating a grand larceny that occurred Oct. 21 at 167 Soundview Dr. after a resident reported the theft of power tools at 12:51 p.m.
  • Criminal mischief was reported to police Oct. 24 at 4:22 p.m. at 50 Fairfield Rd.
  • Police are investigating a case of fraud reported at 376 Port Washington Blvd. on Oct. 24. at 3:10 p.m.
  • Police are investigating a burglary that took place at 156 Main St. on Oct. 26 at 4:51 p.m.
  • Police are investigating a burglary that took place at 61 Sandy Hollow Rd. on Oct. 27 at 9:46 p.m.
Felony arrests:
  • A Brentwood man was placed under arrest on Beacon Hill Road for multiple motor vehicle violations, according to police. The incident occurred Oct. 25 at 4:50 p.m.
